Monique helps financial planning practices bring coaching into the way they work — so advisors move beyond the numbers and connect with what clients actually want their money to do for them.
She holds a Higher Certificate in Financial Planning, and has worked inside a financial planning practice herself — helping put systems in place, streamline processes, and, along the way, discovering how much a coaching conversation changes the way clients respond to advice.
Monique is an Internationally Accredited ICF (PCC) Life Coach and Mentor Coach, and an InnerLifeSkills® Master Coach and Trainer, currently Lead Trainer for InnerLifeSkills® Global Skills and Executive Coach certification programmes.
Her path into this work started outside finance entirely — 18 years running her own physiotherapy practice, where she found that the skills she’d been taught weren’t always enough on their own. Life coaching filled that gap, and she began combining it, informally, with her clinical work. When she later joined a financial planning practice to help streamline its systems, she found herself doing the same thing again — and realised how much financial planning practices need the same shift.
She now works with practices and their advisors directly: building coaching skills, embedding a coaching culture, and mentoring advisors working toward their own ICF accreditation.
In her free time, she’s a family girl who enjoys the outdoors — camping, yoga, and hiking. She’s also a bit of a nerd who loves reading and studying.
